When I started to learn to write short stories, I wrote from personal experience, without directly attributing characters to real life people. As time went on, and I learned how to write more articulately, as well combining my love for character creation through acting, it was much easier to write about certain themes and topics as fiction.
Writing short stories rooted in everyday life is about finding magic in the ordinary. Each story captures small, fleeting moments - the glances, conversations and the quiet realisations that define us. These tales are inspired by the beauty and complexity of real life, turning the familiar into something unforgettable.
Through relatable characters and authentic experiences, short stories remind us that even the simplest moments can hold layers of meaning, making us pause and reflect.

Poetry
I started writing poetry at a very young age as it was the easiest form of writing to understand and execute. My poetry has always tended to be a little emo given I started writing in my teenage years, however, I’m now trying to teach myself new skills to learn how to write poetry that touches you to your core.
Each line is a reflection, a whisper of truth that resonates with the parts of us we often keep hidden. Poetry connects us to our innermost selves, letting emotions flow freely—joy, heartbreak, wonder, and everything in between. It's a journey into the heart, where every verse holds a piece of something profound, waiting to be felt.
